Job Description
High energy position that assists, plans and coordinates membership, council promotion and activities.
This is an hourly position. Working hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday. Will require some nights (typically 1 per month) & weekend events (2-3 per year). 
•    Support staff, Membership Committee, Sales & Marketing Council and Building & Design Council;
•    Coordinate new services for the membership, including affinity programs, Pinnacle Builder Award program & product and service discounts;
•    Coordinate logistics for the general membership meetings, member mixers, and council events including: research offsite locations, coordinating food and beverage service planning; coordinate speaker needs and contracts with vendors; promotion and program development, registration, table top displays, meal and on-site logistics; produce participant handouts; registering of attendees for and at events; 
•    Update and maintain membership database, council records, process membership applications, assist with membership dues billing, and produce membership reports;
•    Produce new member kits, membership cards and certificates/plaques for all new incoming members;
•    Assist Membership Committee to develop and coordinate membership drives and campaigns;
•    Conduct/Coordinate exit surveys of non-renewing members to determine reasons for canceling membership;
•    Maintain annual calendar of Sales & Marketing and Building & Design (Remodelers) Council educational events/meetings including all major events, GMMs, Mixers, Breakfasts and professional development classes, coordinating with office staff and committee & council chairs;
•    Assist in developing and securing sponsorships;
•    Other duties as assigned by the CEO or DEO;
•    Assist members as needed.

•    High school graduate minimum.
•    Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft products, including: Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Excel, and Outlook, and must become proficient in Association Membership software.

•    Operate within budget and program objectives.
•    Ability to contact and interact with association members in person and on the phone, speak in public and carry themselves in a professional manner. 
•    Excellent customer service skills are a MUST.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to both internal and external customers.
•    Ability to prioritize work effectively, efficient time management.
•    Ability to lift-up to 40 pounds.

Salary Range:    $28,704 ($13.80/hr.) to $35,360 ($17/hr.) Starting Salary DOE
